August + White was founded in 2010 by Marie, while searching for a more meaningful and creative outlet where artistry, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design could come together. Drawing from Marie’s background in interior design, architecture, web design, and fine printing, a natural home was found in the world of luxury stationery, where every detail has the opportunity to tell a story.
What began as a passion project has grown into a boutique design studio devoted to creating heirloom paper goods that feel both timeless and deeply personal. We believe the most beautiful designs are rooted in intention and balancing refined simplicity with organic details to create pieces that become lasting keepsakes for generations to come.

I wake up every day, so excited to be a part of an industry that is surrounded by love. I feel so honored when couples choose my artisan designs for their most important day - one they will cherish forever.
I’m a native New Yorker now living in Dallas, Texas, with a background in theater and television that has always shaped the way I see design. I’ve carried that artistic sensibility from the stage and screen into my stationery work, creating pieces that feel thoughtful, personal, and a little bit unexpected.
I have a true appreciation for beautiful materials, distinctive printing processes, and custom illustration, and I love bringing all of those elements together to create stationery that feels uniquely yours. Most pieces are produced in-house, one by one, with careful attention to every detail on our beautiful press, Charlotte.
