The Story
August + White was founded in 2010 by our lead designer, Marie, who was in search of a more meaningful outlet for her natural creativity. With a diverse background in finance, web design and printing, Marie brought a unique blend of artistic sensibility and precision to the world of stationery.
What began as a passion project soon blossomed into a full-fledged design studio rooted in the belief that timeless beauty can be crafted through thoughtful, organic design.
Our work has been part of more than 1,600 celebrations and counting - from intimate backyard ceremonies to grand affairs for celebrities and professional athletes. Regardless of scale, every client receives the same meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful creative collaboration that define our work.

fun facts
I am a native New Yorker living in Dallas - I love sunshine, but still sneak away to New York or Canada anytime I need cold weather and snow. Which is every single winter.
Travel is my biggest inspiration. I love learning new languages, exploring different cultures, and especially designing for international weddings and destination celebrations. The favorites are - North America: NYC (of course), San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto. Europe: Barcelona, Stockholm, Lake Como, Milan and Venice.
I have designed for many celebrity and professional athlete weddings, and they are amongst my favorites.
My Chihuahua, Zack, is the real boss of the studio (and my house).
I’ve been designing for over 20 years (which still feels surreal to say out loud).
I never say no to tacos or pizza. Ever.
I’m a huge hockey and baseball fan, so there’s a good chance you’ll spot me at an NHL arena or MLB stadium. If you do, please come say hello (and I sincerely mean that!).
I’m that person who takes photos of cool signage while on vacation.
I’ve bought products just because the packaging was minimalist and just perfect.
